Payroll Edge are genuinely independent payroll consultants. For us, this means that we are system agnostic and have no financial affiliations with software vendors or other payroll service providers.
We have made an active choice to be independent and it remains important to us that we are able to focus on your business and processes and what is needed for you to do payroll better.
It is this independence that gives us the ability to look for potential solutions beyond a single system and its capabilities and look to harness all the available process, people and technology options that are available to you.
I also means that we can focus on helping businesses address the underlying processes and strategies and assess their current systems first to ensure they are using what they already have to its fullest potential, rather than jumping straight into suggesting new systems or trying to “sell” a product that may not provide the benefits that are promised on the box.
Changing systems is hard. The payoff needs to be worth the money, but more importantly worth the time and effort that it presents for all the people in your business.
This doesn’t mean that we don’t spend the time to forge strong partnerships with other vendors and service providers though.
The payroll and HR system industry is extensive and we establish formal and informal relationships with as many software vendors and service providers that we can to aid in getting access to in depth resources and training as well as regular updates on products both so that we can help you with your current solutions and so we can be well informed of how other solutions may be able to help you do payroll better.
We make sure that those relationships do not provide any financial benefit for Payroll Edge Consulting, or our individual consultants, and we work hard to make these relationships 2-way, allowing us to support them with developing their products just as much as they support us to help our clients to do payroll better.
